Job Overview

As an HR Admin Intern, you will support the HR team in managing day-to-day HR activities and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, organised, proactive, and interested in building a career in Human Resources. You will get hands-on exposure to recruitment, employee onboarding, HR documentation, employee engagement, and office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

  • Assist the HR team in posting job openings on various job portals and social media platforms.
  • Support resume screening and shortlisting of candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database.
  • Assist with follow-ups with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Onboarding & Offboarding Support

  • Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including collecting and maintaining required documents.
  • Help coordinate joining formalities, HR inductions, and onboarding activities.
  • Assist in preparing HR documents, letters, and other employee-related paperwork.
  • Support the HR team with exit formalities and maintaining exit-related documentation.

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities, celebrations, and team events.
  • Support the HR team in organising training sessions and internal activities.
  • Help with employee communication and engagement initiatives.

HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, HR files, and documentation.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR administrative activities.
  • Support the HR team in preparing employee communication, reminders, and announcements.
  • Assist with HRMS-related updates and employee data management.
  • Ensure HR documents and records are organised and up to date.

Office Administration

  • Assist with monitoring office supplies and inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers as required.
  • Support the HR team in maintaining a clean, organised, and employee-friendly office environment.
  • Assist with handling incoming and outgoing documents, couriers, and packages.

General Support

  • Assist the HR team with ongoing HR projects and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and other departments when required.
  • Take up additional responsibilities and tasks assigned by the HR team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience; freshers are welcome to apply.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HRMS tools will be an added advantage.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling employee information.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
