Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Market Research: Drive business development strategy by identifying high-potential markets, analyzing industry trends, and forecasting growth opportunities.


  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of business development and sales professionals to meet organizational revenue targets.


  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Design and implement comprehensive lead generation strategies including outbound calling, campaigns, referrals, and digital outreach.


  • Sales Enablement & Pipeline Management: Oversee the qualification, nurturing, and conversion of leads while ensuring CRM systems are effectively leveraged for accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment on goals, messaging, and customer engagement strategies.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key accounts to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and improve client retention.


  • Performance Management: Set clear KPIs, monitor team performance, and report progress to leadership. Adjust strategies to meet targets and maximize ROI.


  • Presentations & Negotiations: Represent the company in client meetings, trade shows, webinars, and industry events with persuasive product demos and solution-based pitches.


  • Training & Development: Coach team members on effective sales techniques, market trends, and customer engagement to enhance skills and improve outcomes.


  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate detailed reports on BD performance, campaign success rates, market insights, and competitor analysis.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Customer Success roles.
  • Proven success in developing and executing BD strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools. 
  • Advanced understanding of sales performance metrics and funnel management.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of customer behavior and decision-making.


Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business Administration, Business Development, or a related field – Preferred
